I'm so excited about doing this blog. I just love music and all the messages it teaches our children. I'm super dooper pooper excited about being primary choristor again. Serving in the presidency surely was fun but their's nothing like singing time!!!
This last Sunday my kids sang Baby in A Manger by Sally Deford in Sacrament. If you haven't heard this song yet its a must have. It's super easy and just simply beautiful.
So for singing time I wanted to reward them for all of their hard work. We kept it simple and just sang a bunch of Christmas songs.
This is how we chose which song to sing.
I brought my kid's little nifty spinning computer chair, placed the names of the songs around the chair, had one child sit in the chair and another child spin the chair with the child sitting in it. What ever song their feet pointed to is what song we sang. They had loads of fun and it's a definite repeat activity.
